My name is Natasha and I'm originally from Perth, Western Australia. I moved to Canberra, ACT in January 2021 and have been enjoying exploring this beautiful part of the country. I have had the opportunity to get out into the mountains and see snow for the first time. I moved back to Perth in September 2022.
I love photography because not only is it a wonderful hobby, it also allows me to capture lasting memories of my travels and experiences.
I've been taking photographs since I was old enough to hold a little disposable kodak film camera. During high school, I studied both film & digital photography which helped teach me the basics of photographic theory as well as using manual settings on a DSLR and editing images in Adobe Photoshop. During university I performed photoshoots (automotive and pets) during semester breaks and attended events. I'm hoping to get back into more of this soon.
Since graduating, I've been mostly focused on my career. However, I am now working part time which means I can get out to enjoy photography more often. I take photos of every-day things around me as well as going out specifically to take photos. I currently use a Nikon D7500 with a Tamron 100-400mm f/4.5-6.3 telephoto lens, Nikon 18-300mm F/3.5-6.3 VR telephoto lens, a 35mm f/1.8g prime lens and a Sigma 10-20mm F/3.5 wide angle lens.
